3.6 - Youth Potion #9

I can't remember who started a fire--probably Tasi, he's always trying to cook--but Sedna came to the rescue and put it out.

Sedna is awesome, in case you weren't already aware.

Mira is still safely tucked away upstairs. She had only one drawing to complete once they came back from vacation. Which is good, because she's very close to her birthday after that three day long frolic through the woods!

Harvestfest! Everyone sits down and enjoys a meal of tofurkey. It's cute to see them all gathered around the table like an actual family.

Derya is aging up the next day, so it's the last time. Bittersweet!

Mira is already a teenager and I apparently forgot to document it. Oops.

Speaking of which... Derya, you don't look very sure about those candles.

Derya: 'I'm not. I know you're going to just ship me off once I finish this.'

You're right, but it's nothing personal. Just legacy business. Enjoy your immortality!

The remaining sisters gather the following morning to discuss the fact that Derya is gone. Sedna is next and time is creeping up her quickly.

I'll miss her, for sure.

As a teenager, Mira gets Hot-Headed and wants to be a Musical Genius. Simple enough.

She spends a lot of time in the creativity room, strumming on the guitar.

That glass is empty, which means Tasi has had his one and only youth potion. I think he'll make a really good Super Efficient Baby Care sim. He only needs one more point in parenting to max it out!

Besides, aging is all kinds of wonky, thanks to all of the pregnancies!

Tasi: 'I'm not sure how I feel about this...'

Suck it up, champ. You're in it for the long haul.

Derya stops by. She's given a hug and keys to the place. I love it when they just drop in. It's like they never left!

Mira and Sedna get along best of all. Sedna was close with Derya, too. Helle mostly keeps to herself, despite being closest in age to Sedna.

It's cute. I like seeing how relationships autonomously develop!

The front porch bench is back at it again. Did you carry the tablet out here, Tasi?

Tasi: 'I'm bored and I want to be outside.'

Fair enough, I guess.

Sedna chats with her dad and sister while they work on Mira's school project. I don't even remember why I was bothering with this.

AHA! It's Darya that's breaking the stupid tea pot. I've been trying to figure this one out for awhile now. Damn it, Darya.

Darya: 'I'm a ghost, what do you expect?'

You were such a good sim, too. Why do you have to be a shitty ghost?

Sedna becomes an Adult! It's bittersweet. I'm not ready to kick her out yet...

With Mira's birthday fast-approaching, Shanice feels the need to lecture Mira on what's expected of her as heir. Mira is, understandably, unimpressed. Sedna just seems glad it isn't her.

I saw this dude while I was managing families and managed to track him down. I've invited him over for Mira to hit it off with. These are genes I definitely want in the next generation!

Raul: 'I don't think I like where this is going...'

Shh. Don't worry your pretty little head about it.

Because Mira is still a teen, I'm trying to make them friends. It's... strangely difficult. They don't seem to be hitting it off. I'm hoping it's just because she's, well, still a teen.

Mira would much rather eat cake than befriend her future spouse. Where did that cake even come from?

Oh, that's right. It was Helle's birthday. I'm a horrible chronicler.

Helle aged up and then got trapped by this bugged plate of french toast they brought back from vacation. Gross.

I managed to reset her and then she moved on. Bye, Helle! Enjoy being immortal! You're lovely but I cannot stand your slobbishness a second longer.

She got Creative as her final trait.

Derya loves calling Shanice up and giving her hot gossip. Tasi is unimpressed with all of this. I find this entire thing hilarious.

That youth potion Tasi drank must have given Shanice some ridiculous ideas.

No. Absolutely not!

Mira suffers a pretty intense moodswing on her birthday. She luckily ages up without issue and doesn't die on me. Whew.

She adds Vegetarian as her final trait.

Shanice gets a youth potion simply because I want to keep her around and it isn't fair that Tasi will outlive her by a mile. I may come to regret this later.

Oh well!
