Ocean Legacy - TS4

It must be rough in the city for an android. The game randomly generated a Servo to be the resident busker. Pretty hilarious. Why are we in San Myshuno? Because Darya is checking out prospective spouses. This guy isn't bad, he's got some seriously majestic locks. Unfortunately, his traits are less-than-desirable. When traits are genetic, you're a lot  more careful, I find... Darya: 'This one's nice!' And he's also , 'kind of', your great-grandfather. Darya: '...what?' This is what happens when I use a sim that was born in a different save. Akira was Kailani's original sim's grandfather. Maybe further down the line it'll matter less, but right now, it's still skeevy. Moving on... this creeper, Simeon, looks like he's willing to join the Legacy. Sorry, buddy. Snowball fights are not the high energy action I remember from TS3. They seem to just stand around and then randomly throw a snowball. It's... pretty disappointing, honestly. They don't even try to duck or dodge; there's no jumping around. Caspian kept missing. Caspian, in general, is a jerk. I covered that last time but his teen years have heavily reinforced it. He regularly beats on his childhood stuffed toy. Why? I don't know. He didn't even have an angry moodlet! Why are you like this?? His favorite target is his mother. He likes accosting and insulting her. For some reason, they've decided to sit at the dinner table and have a chat. Which means he's fighting with her... for no reason. Any attempt to intervene is met with this: he escalates. I tried to free Kailani from the grips of her angry child only for her to get a drink tossed in her face.  Darya is amused, because she's literally the only person Caspian seems capable of getting along with. Ror...

Kailani becomes an Adult. Thanks to Rory's forgotten birthday, I actually remember to make her a cake! I wish they didn't always get the bummed moodlet and that it was more trait dependent. I can't remember if Loner  sims get upset about missed birthdays or not. The Cowplant lives! For awhile, at least. I never keep these alive long. Not since Sims 2. They're just a pain. The last one I had was years ago, when this game first came out... It's super cute that Darya comes running anytime Rory gets home. Neither of the kids do this for Kailani...  Which isn't to say she doesn't spend time with them, she definitely does. Caspian is just a little jerk. He doesn't have any traits that should make him this way, he just is.  He went through a phase where he wanted to be mean and then just... never stopped. He fights and argues with everyone. It's annoying. And just as soon as it lives... it's dead. R.I.P. Cowplant. Thanks for your contribution to Kailani...
