Caspian is less than thrilled about the newest addition. Lakai just looks at him like,
'what do you think I thought about you?'I must've missed where Rory zapped himself on the robotics bench when I sent him to repair their cheap stereo as soon as they got back from the hospital.
Of course, he electrocuted himself and died!
I sent Kailani to plead for him desperately. As much as I love random deaths, I am
NOT ready to tough out this house with a single parent. Darya would likely be taken away because her mother would be too bereft to care for her!
I've never had much luck pleading, but luckily this time, it worked.
Rory is revived! And I'll definitely pay more attention in the future...
Kailani is quite relieved. How harrowing! Death looks on eeriely.
Darya becomes a toddler who looks quite a lot like her brother, Caspian. I'm pretty sure these two will be it, unless Risky Woohoo kicks in.
Lakai dies shortly after Darya's birthday celebrations right in the middle of everything. It was her time. I really dislike how elder pets
always seem to contract an illness. And even when you cure it, they immediately roll up another one...
It's Caspian's turn once the mourning is over!
Darya celebrates her newfound freedom by running outside in the middle of the night to play in the snow. Well, okay then. She's
Fussy. That should be interesting.
Caspian and Aki (Zeus and Lakai's daughter) have always been close. That's why she was the one they kept. Their closeness continues.
Unfortunately, Zeus and Aki aren't nearly so close. I've never seen a fight between pets before! I didn't even realize I could break it up until it was too late.
Zeus lost and ran away. Oops.
Darya looks decidedly uncertain about this strange spell caster their father seems to know. Caspian is unfazed. Being part-alien makes you immune to most oddities.
Rory becomes an Adult to no fanfare. Oops! I completely forgot. He was younger than Kailani before the pregnancies and I missed the notifications.
I really dislike that pregnancy freezes a sim's age. I need to mod that out.
Lakai comes by for a visit and checks in on her daughter, Aki. At least
these two get along...
Darya is a
Fussy toddler. She likes getting her way. Kailani isn't so impressed with her daughter's demanding nature.
I feel you, sister. I've got two of them. It only gets worse.
Darya gets
very upset when Kailani leaves without her, so she hangs out on the beach while her mother tries to reel in a Cowplant. Luckily, she delivers and work can continue on her aspiration milestone.
I really like how you can see the lighthouse in the distance.
Rory gets his own He-Shed to complement Kailani's greenhouse. I add a woodworking bench because i want him to get his Handiness up high enough to start doing some upgrades without risking him getting shocked and dying again...

For not wanting a little sister, Caspian sure spends a lot of time with her. He does his homework on her bed more often than not.
Given how the rolls went, it's looking like Darya will be our heiress. I'm a little done with the Dance Machine trait. Caspian got Kleptomaniac, Dance Machine, and Perfectionist. Whereas, Darya, got Perfectionist, Loves Outdoors, and Family Oriented.
