Snowball fights are not the high energy action I remember from TS3. They seem to just stand around and then randomly throw a snowball. It's... pretty disappointing, honestly. They don't even try to duck or dodge; there's no jumping around.
Caspian kept missing.
Caspian, in general, is a jerk. I covered that last time but his teen years have heavily reinforced it. He regularly beats on his childhood stuffed toy. Why? I don't know. He didn't even have an angry moodlet!
Why are you like this??
His favorite target is his mother. He likes accosting and insulting her. For some reason, they've decided to sit at the dinner table and have a chat. Which means he's fighting with her... for no reason.
Any attempt to intervene is met with this: he escalates. I tried to free Kailani from the grips of her angry child only for her to get a drink tossed in her face.
Darya is amused, because she's literally the only person Caspian seems capable of getting along with.
Rory escapes most of it by being locked out in his shed, working on robotics. He finally finished the suit! Now he just needs the promotion that gives him the helmet.
Caspian stops being a jerk long enough to celebrate with his family. I love having sims decorate the tree. It's such a cute holiday.
Rory becomes an Elder and actually got a cake this time! I need to do makeovers but I just haven't had the energy. This generation is seeming to take
forever. I blame Caspian and his unexplained moodiness...
I also did some improvements to the house, so that had me pretty wiped, too. I'm not much of a builder.
I'm not sure drinking with your kids is appropriate, Kailani... but I can't say I blame her, given Caspian's disposition. At least he's being nice for once!
Speaking of our resident grinch, he's now an Adult! I could kick him out, but then I'd be massively bored, because I'm not terribly keen on the Teenager stage. I hate that they look
exactly like young adults. It's weird and creepy.
So, he stays, for now.
And, as luck would have it, there's this cute girl that's come around the house a few times. He actually gets along with her! So... maybe I can get him a girlfriend, or even a wife, before giving him the boot.
Heck, maybe I'll even see what their babies look like.
Kailani becomes an Elder without any fanfare. Oops. My bad! I didn't realize she was so close. Poor old girl.
Maybe she can avoid getting attacked by Caspian now. He might take pity on her aged countenance.
Or maybe he'll be too busy wooing his 'new friend.' Wiki has a last name I couldn't pronounce if I tried that has a ton of little extra accents above the letters. He takes her out on their first date and things go great, surprisingly.
He isn't mean to her, not even once. And when he tells an inappropriate joke, she's charmed!
This girl is definitely a keeper. I don't think we'll find anyone else who can tolerate him quite so well. So, they have their first kiss and Caspian immediately gets the whim to WooHoo with her. Haha, such a guy! He invites her back and they break in his new double bed.
It must have been a pretty amazing time, because Caspian left the safety of his bed and wandered out into the hot tub to fall asleep.
As far as I know, no one has used this and it's been around awhile. I bought it to fulfill a random whim Rory had when he moved in.
Caspian introduces Wiki to the whole family. She's really cute, I'll give her that.
Also, the kitchen is a busy place... geeze.
Kailani has retired. She's my first TS4 sim to do so, if I remember correctly. So, she putters around and spends a lot of time doing random things, like talking to plants. She's earned this time. I spent so much of her and Rory's youth bossing them around, forcing them to skill endlessly!
She takes time out of her busy schedule of fishing and plant talking to ensure her daughter isn't a jerk like her son. Being heiress means she's got to be tolerable!
I don't think that's going to be a problem... Darya is precious.
She even autonomously fixes things! What?! I've never seen this happen and I don't have any mods that would make it happen. Right after this, Caspian fixed something, too.

Behind her is the bike she left at this spot way back before Caspian was even born. It's been here ever since.
Caspian moves Wiki in. She's got a college degree! Not that it matters much, since it's basically only usable for being a stylist and something else.
She comes with 20k. We take it because she'll need that when they move out to their own house eventually.
Immediately, Wiki is pregnant! Yay! Caspian is less than enthused, but get over it, buddy. It's been a long time since this house had babies and I'm making you procreate before you leave.
And this is where all hell broke loose. This is the first morning after Wiki's moved in. From what I can gather, Wiki came out feelin' flirty because of the impending romantic holiday. She must have flirted with Rory or he flirted with her, either way... chaos. (Unfortunately, no slapping...)
I have a mod that makes cheating reactions more realistic. So, Kailani was furious, Rory was ashamed, and Darya is also pretty mad.
Rory looks like he's trying to mind wipe Wiki. Wrong target, buddy.
It takes awhile for this all to die down. I keep Wiki and Rory away from each other.
His days are numbered, anyway. I guess his fellow aliens needed to call him up for a report or something, because he's the first sim in this save to get abducted!
