refused to get promoted. It was driving me crazy.

Darya joins the rest of her ancestors in the mausoleum. She is now reunited with Nuihaur, who seems like he died forever ago!
The whole family (save for apathetic Mira) gets a dunk in the hot tub of forget your sadness. Unfortunately, the soothing jasmine oils do little to alleviate the family's intense grief.
Darya was their rock! She practically raised everyone here. She will be missed.
Mira, true to form, is in the living room waving coyly at death. What is
with this girl? She won't be rolling Mean, I have all the kids already pre-rolled, but man... she'd make a hell of an Evil or Mean sim.
Despite her inability to see the suffering around her, Mira is everyone's favorite person.
Derya chooses to sadly do her homework on Mira's bed while she catches a quick snack.
Shanice is
really keen for Mira to learn to talk. It's an obsession at this point.
Mira joins the rest of her older sisters in childhood. She's cute. The girls are all very different looking--no clones--and for that, I am pleased!
She's hot-headed, though. Where's that apathy now?!
I haven't had a kid in this legacy finish the Rambunctious Scamp aspiration yet. It's entirely useless for her adult aspiration, but whatever. We gotta finish it.
Time to dust off the monkey bars in the backyard.
Breakfast is a family affair. I like it when they all end up eating together. It's cute.
Truth be told, Shanice is rarely ever awake because she works late. I think she had the day off.
These two may not canoodle as much as Darya and Nuihaur did, but they're still cute. Tasi is usually the one who wants to hug or be affectionate. Shanice usually prefers to impishly pester or bug him.
I think she's confused Hot-Headed for Mean.
Tasi usually hides from his wife and instead, plays with the girls. The dollhouse, man. It's the place to be... when Shanice hasn't broken it.
Which is rare.
Derya is a teen! She's a Perfectionist who Loves Outdoors. I think she'll end up with the same exact traits that Darya had. Ironic.
She wants to do something involving Potions. Yeah, not happening.
This also means it's time to roll for the heir...
...and it is, unfortunately,
not Sedna or Helle. Sedna has been my favorite for heir, but she also looks the most like Tasi.
It's Mira. The youngest. OF COURSE. So it will feel like it's an eternity before we get to move on to the next generation.
I'm a little bummed, but I'll get over it. Maybe she'll win me over like her father did.
Also, I just remembered sims can cuddle their kids. Cute!
Now that the heir has been decided, Derya could care less about her schoolwork!
Derya: 'Just a few weeks and I'm free!'
Immortality isn't all it's cracked up to be, you know.

Yeah, no. It'll be awhile before I have any spell casters...
This is the face of a woman who has achieved all of her desires! Good job, Shanice. Now we can move on to something else...
As per usual, Tasi is hanging out with his kids in their room. He really likes to hide from Shanice. It's hilarious.
