2.4 - Slow & Steady

All of the siblings get along so well! I love all of the autonomous hugging. It's so freaking precious.

This is also Maris' eventual big girl room.

The kids aren't the only ones who autonomously interact. If I leave Darya or Nuihaur alone for a minute and they're both home, they can be found canoodling somewhere or another.

It's probably I good thing I got rid of my autonomous and risky woohoo...

Rory haunts pretty regularly. We don't get to see Kailani much at all. Rory enjoys checking out and interacting with the grandchildren. It must be that Family Oriented part of him!

Which is fine, since there's almost always a toddler up in the early am...

I finally remember a birthday! Maris blows out her candles and becomes a cute little girl.

She's fresh from the dresser, rocking her new winter wear. It's hard to tell with kids, but she almost looks like a complete clone of her older brother Kai and her dad. Please don't be!

Poor Tasi. I don't think I've had a toddler pass out in a long time. He not only does this, but outside in a snowstorm in the middle of the night!

Someone go get that kid!

Maris continues her tradition of being a total daddy's girl. She follows Nuihaur around when he's home and is always autonomously interacting with him.

I'd say poor him, because he's a loner, but I'm sure he loves it.

Sim families make a lot of dishes. You'd never know these guys have a maid. Darya found all of these just around the house, outside of the kitchen.

Kids.

Kai finishes his kid aspiration with half his childhood left. I switched it over to Whiz Kid, but I doubt he'll end up finishing it. I'm never terribly driven with the childhood ones.

I'd love it if we got new ones... it's been years of the same thing.

Despite Nuihaur's face, he had a cake and is celebrating his age up properly. Adulthood awaits! It's a shame Darya is so far behind him. It'll be a long time before she's an Adult... Nuihaur will nearly be an Elder by that point!

Darya dotes on all of her children. It's sweet. She is close to maxing out parenting, too, which means she can calm kids down and put an end to stress and mood swings. Which is amazing.

Maris is a social butterfly, which means she needs to socialize. I hate socializing in this game. It's so shallow and annoying.

I don't think I've ever completed this childhood aspiration, so maybe I'll try with her...

Tasi is still a toddler, but he's getting close to joining his siblings! In fact, this is the last photo I have of him as a rambunctious little toddler...

Because he's a child who wants to be a Whiz Kid and also, like his siblings, a Perfectionist. This means he gets even more attention since he needs to be read to. I can take out two with one blow since Kai has the same aspiration.

Tasi looks different than his siblings, which I'm glad for. I'm really hoping Kai and Maris don't end up being clones.

The boys spend a lot of time together on the balcony that has a perfect view of the lighthouse. Between the chess games and trying to build mental skill, they'll usually be found here.

The doll house continues to be a hot item. I've even caught the boys playing by themselves with it! Usually it's Maris and Darya, though. Once, Maris managed to pull her dad into a game of house. Too sweet.

Kai and Tasi come running every time Nuihaur comes home. This is them squealing with delight upon the sight of their dad... through the wall? I don't know, it's the sims.

Either way, cute. They all got upset when he went to work, too.

The kids eat a lot of meals together at strange hours. Everyone in this house wakes up entirely too early for my liking. Whatever happened to sleeping until 6am? I wish there was a way to have a tighter control on when they wake up...

The house has grown. I added a second floor and expanded the kitchen because there wasn't enough room for everyone to sit!

The Voidcritters Battle Station is new to me. When did they add that? I guess I just never noticed! It's cute and reminds me of Pokemon. I wish the kids played it autonomously, but so far, not yet. They do have a lot of fun trying to beat each other, though. I haven't really noticed anything unique about it past the randomization of cards.
