Darya's alien ancestors must have needed to have a word with her, because she gets abducted. Abduction is so strange in this game.
Kai could care less that his mother is a half-alien who just got back from space. He's too busy making a mess!
I, thankfully, have not had to deal with this with either of my children. One was the easiest toddler ever, the other just climbs and tries to hurt herself every five seconds...
I've never really messed with the toddler outdoor items in TS4, so I really want to check them out. The slide is super cute. I was really tempted to plunk down the big jungle gym for toddlers, but I didn't. Maybe another generation!
Toddlers have to be one of my favorite stages because they're just so cute. Kai loves snuggling with his mum. Where there aren't any other adults who are home all day, these two have a lot of autonomous interactions.
Nuihaur isn't a slacker parent. He reads Kai to sleep and takes care of Maris, but he also works. I make him paint
a lot, too. He often sneaks away to do things like this, though.
The hot tub that almost never sees autonomous use gets some love. This is mostly because it was contextually relevant and I was too lazy to sort through the romance menu for the Try for Baby option.
Darya is pregnant, again! This will be her last, despite my plan of them having more. My pregnancy aging mod wasn't working, so Darya is going to be insanely younger than Nuihaur. He's almost an Adult at this point and she's barely scraped the barrel of Young Adulthood.
Maris becomes a cute little toddler! She looks exactly like her older brother Kai. They're both seemingly clones of their father. Where's the variety, game?! I mean, they're adorable, sure... but I really want to see a jumble of things, not a bunch of clone kids.
She's Wild, so she's always running around.
Because Maris is Wild, she likes streaking. A lot. In fact, I don't think I've ever had a toddler in-game streak autonomously near as much as she does!

Toddler sibling hugs are the cutest! I love them. I love them even more when they're autonomous. These two get on so well.
Nuihaur is a Masterpiece machine! I'm assuming it's because he's a Perfectionist, because almost every other painting he does is one. Unfortunately, it's not doing much for his Fame rating. He's still only a two star celebrity, thanks to a career chance.
You'd think painting something like a Masterpiece would make you catapult in fame.
Tasi is born! I'm bummed that he's the last, but such as it is. I don't need Darya being essentially immortal. It's ridiculous.
I'm still messing with the house layout at this point. I'm making a designated baby/toddler room so I don't have to keep switching furniture in and out.
Kai and Maris take their meals out on the porch a lot. I think it's because the bench is the closest area to sit now that I've moved the couch back a bit. It's still cute... though maybe not at two in the morning?
Before Nuihaur got a creativity room, the toddlers liked running to him and demanding attention. While cute, it wasn't exactly conductive to his career progress!
Maris was the worst offender. She's definitely a daddy's girl.

Maris gets one-on-one time with mum, just like Kai did. Darya doesn't have a whole lot to do, so she spends a lot of time with the kids.
I really wish the flash card and other parent teaching interactions were quicker than just regular skilling. Why wouldn't they learn faster with help?
Tasi becomes a toddler Charmer just like his older brother. Finally! He's not a Nuihaur clone. Hooray! He even has the light-colored eyes of his mother and grandma.
Kailani finally shows up to check out her grandchildren. She doesn't break anything, amazingly, but that streak doesn't last.
These ghosts are gonna drive me bananas.
Winterfest is typically the only holiday I even bother with anymore, sadly! I feel like they happen too often and are way too involved when you're playing long challenges like this. Things end up repeating
a lot.
Still, it's cute to see them do family things together!
The dollhouse in Maris' eventual big girl room is a hot spot in the house. Everyone loves playing with it, even the adults. Tasi and Maris are the most frequent users right now, though. So cute!
