4.5 - Ghostly Maneuvers

What an awkward place to open an update at.

Sedna: 'You can always leave.'

Raul: 'Please do.'

Yep. I'm out.

I'd much rather listen to Darya and her mother, Kailani, discuss whatever it is that ghosts talk about. These two are pretty chill ghosts, though Darya does occasionally get into a mood that results in all of the sinks breaking...

Darya: 'I'm a spirited spirit, what can I say?'

Kailani chuckles.

That's enough, you two.

Nereus is not at all amused by the fact that his grandparents are still really into each other. I think it's hilarious.

Nereus: 'Ew, gross! I'm never kissing. Ever.'

Good, because you're a spare and that means you probably won't. Ever.

The creativity room is packed and I'm beginning to regret not moving it to the slightly bigger space across the hall. Seriously, guys. This is ridiculous!

Ianthe: 'This is what hell sounds like.'

Hey! Language, young lady. But you're also not wrong. This is awful.

Tasi: 'My ears are bleeding but I can't seem to escape.'

I think Raul is blocking the door... purposefully or not, that's the question.

I get the alert that Tasi's time is approaching, so I have him say goodbye to his girls since he was such an exceptional father.

Also, that's a photo of Darya holding him in the background. Cute.

I left to go make some popcorn upstairs and forgot to pause my computer. I came back to this grim scene. 

Glaucus, wailing: 'Grandpa!'

Oof. Sorry, kiddo. That's rough.

R.I.P., Tasi. You were way more awesome than I expected, and you're my first sim to complete multiple aspirations and get over twelve traits. Huzzah!

The next morning, everyone is still in full mourning. Everyone except...

Raul: 'Hey! I'm bummed.'

Are you, though? Your moodlet has nearly expired and I'm shocked to find out, you have zero points with either of your in-laws.

Raul: 'Marry two of their daughters, in quick succession, tends to do that.'

Touche.

Raul: 'Still, Tasi was a class act... even if he glared at me a ton.'

Meanwhile, Mira is still haunting around the kiddos. Stop breaking my heart.

Mira: 'I think I would have liked having kids.'

Ianthe: 'It's okay, Perseus. Just pretend she's not there.'

You're spooking the kids. Maybe sulk somewhere else?

Glaucus finally finishes his designated kid aspiration. I feel like it took forever, but that's only because three out of four kids had it this time. Now he can work on Rambunctious Scamp, which will actually help him when he's an adult.

Also, bonus! No more violin screeching.

It's the three blonde pirates! Glaucus is scandalized by something Nereus has said and Perseus is just completely over everything. Poor kid.

The boys all look very similar, but there are differences between them. I'll do a better comparison when they're teens.

Shanice is hitting the bottle... bottles? hard. Girl. What is happening here?

Shanice: 'I'd do four if I thought I could manage it.'

Missing Tasi, huh?

Shanice: 'My social is low and all I want to do is harass my family... so drinking it is!'

Yep. It sucks. I'm sorry!

Tasi! It feels like it took forever for you to haunt. 

Tasi: 'It's actually quite nice being dead. Quieter.'

Ouch. How's Mira?

Tasi: 'Better now. I think she was lonely.'

Good. Take care of each other! And don't break anything while you're visiting.

Poor Shanice is a mess without her husband. She, unfortunately, has missed both of his recent hauntings due to her work schedule. So, instead, she yells at the robot vacuum.

I'd like erratic sims more if they dressed randomly like in TS3.

Helle is over for a visit and does an interaction I've never seen before. She pinches Glaucus' cheeks! I couldn't get a good shot, due to the stairs/etc. 

Helle: 'You're so stinking cute!'

Glaucus: 'Ouch, aunt Helle! That hurts.'

Perseus and Glaucus do not get along very well. I don't know why. Perseus likes to run over and yell at his older brother. Helle is decidedly unimpressed.

Helle: 'Why is the wimpy one yelling at the pretty one?'

Helle, these are your nephews.

Helle: 'And?'

...they have names.

Helle shrugs.

The ghosts are going full tilt lately. Rory is especially active and that bastard likes to break everything.

Glaucus: 'Who is this weird, red ghost?'

Your great-great-grandfather, an annoying alien I am quickly regretting letting into the legacy.

Glaucus: 'He's freaking me out.'

He does that.

While their children are being accosted by relatives of varying corporeality, Sedna and Raul are much too busy with each other. Seriously, you two?

Sedna: 'But his social's in the red again!'

Raul: 'Didn't you complain about no one using the hot tub?'

This is all I ever see you two doing.

Raul: 'I'm outgoing.'

...you're something else, that's for sure.

Tasi and Mira haunt together. He's clearly trying to cheer her up, which is sweet and also useful, because it means she won't break all the stuff. I approve. Good job, Tasi.

The twins are becoming teens! I included this because Shanice blowing that ridiculous horn was too funny to me in that moment.

Ugh! Just as I expected, Ianthe is gorgeous. Nereus looks a lot like Tasi. Ianthe is a good mix. Why isn't she heiress? I'm definitely saving her.

Ianthe adds ____ to Squeamish and wants to be a Jungle Explorer.
