4.3 - Terrible Twos
Tasi plus babies equals true love. This man really loves his grandkids. It's adorable.
It'd be even better if that atrocious tan went away.
In case you missed it, Sedna is gorgeous. Like, seriously. I'm glad she's heiress but also... I would have totally used her for a different challenge. I can't wait to see their kids.
I decided to give them a cute, private wedding on the beach located on the edge of their home lot.
The crashing waves, the distant lighthouse, the romantic embrace, the... trash plant? I completely forgot about that. It popped up sometime during Kailani's generation. I have no clue why.
I need to delete it.
There's no time to waste, so these two have a chat about how that last woohoo they had resulted in another baby!
It's really quick, but I'm eager to finish Tasi's aspiration.
Speaking of Tasi, he's now a toddler wrangler. The twins have aged up! I'm pleased with their diversity so far. I love that Nereus got the blonde hair. They're both super cute.
Mira: 'Great, actually.'
What, really? I'm shocked.
Mira: 'I'm free to do whatever I want and I get to harass you by breaking all your shit.'
Ah, I see... still sore about Raul, huh?
Mira: 'I'm happy to see my sister happy but why did you even force us together?'
Sigh. Because it's a legacy! Stop making me feel guilty.
The kids love Tasi. They follow him everywhere. I couldn't figure out where Ianthe was off to with her wabbit tablet until I saw her perch right near Tasi and talk his ear off.
Unfortunately, these twins were incredibly troublesome. I rarely ever have issues with twins or toddlers in general, but these two were nightmarish.
Their needs were always red and they kept passing out! I noticed, after the recent patch, that AI seems hosed in general. Sims just stand around, not doing anything, despite their need failure. They won't stop actions, either, to take care of their needs. It's madness. I have Free Will turned on and everything.
Poor Nereus kept going to his toddler bed and then hopping back out of it to pass out on the floor.
I took this photo, with the plumbob visible, to show how bad off my toddlers were. Poor Ianthe is starving, stinky, and completely bottomed out on attention.
There was no pleasing these guys. Ianthe was fussy, which makes sense, but Nereus was silly. Even Fussy toddlers aren't usually this awful to handle.
Toddler baths are the cutest thing, but this is to the highlight the fact that time seemed to pass incredibly slowly while the toddler twins were terrorizing everyone. Poor Sedna was pregnant forever... or so it seemed.
Glaucus joins the family! Tasi shares my disappointment at the fact he's not another set of multiples. What good is that stupid reward trait, anyway?
His skintone is a lie. All the babies this generation will resemble their parents, not Tasi.
Raul steps in and tries to do some parenting. He really likes autonomously trying to teach the twins to speak, which makes sense. He's Outgoing, after all... and constantly driving me nuts with his rapidly depleting social needs... ugh.
Poor Tasi. He ends up bearing the brunt of all this child-rearing. I barely survived, myself. It was maddening. I've never felt so stressed out playing The Sims 4 before. Thank goodness for being able to control them. If this were an ISBI, they likely would have been taken away!
Shanice: 'I'd still hit it.'
I know. Because you keep rolling up whims for babies!
Shanice: 'That'll teach you to complain about sims never wanting babies.'
Sigh.
Shanice and Tasi's relationship is so hilariously bizarre, I'll miss it. Poor Tasi gets tasked with raking up leaves and Shanice is there to... ruin all of his hard work.
Tasi: 'It's fine. I'm used to it.'
You're such a chill dude, Tasi.
Also, I just noticed that unpainted section of wall. Cringe.
Glaucus becomes a toddler and looks very similar to Nereus. He doesn't seem very happy about his age up.
Don't worry. You won't get taken away. I think I've finally got the twins sorted.
It's the return of the autonomous flash cards! I was wondering if Shanice and Tasi would force their grandkids to endure the same thing as their kids. At least Nereus is receptive.
Honestly, they're just happy for the attention. Tasi, Shanice, and Raul all have jobs. Sedna is usually busy being pregnant.
Speaking of which, she's pregnant again! Raul can't quite seem to wrap his mind around why this keeps happening. The house is full, so I expect only one baby, despite having the cap raised.
Tired of having toddlers in the chilly fall, Shanice finally utilizes the toddler pool for its actual purpose. While cute, I'm concerned. It's two in the morning and much too cold for this!
Poor Glaucus falls victim to the horrible AI and passes out just like his older siblings. This is getting old. There's nothing blocking them. They literally get in the bed and then immediately get out to go into need failure. Annoying!
I needed a break by this point. Maybe the AI will fix itself next time.
