Yosuke, my dude... why are you hanging out in a sauna with teenage girls?

Yosuke: 'Because I'm a teenage boy, obviously.'

...you're missing the point here on purpose. Where are your parents?! I don't like what's happening here.

Yosuke: 'Prude!'

Delinquent!

Asherah is clearly too busy being a giant child to bother checking in on her children...

Asherah: 'What are you talking about? Nanami is right here.'

Yosuke! He's downstairs, in the sauna, with a bunch of girls.

Asherah: 'It's fiiine. We're not those type of parents.'

You're so lucky I don't have the mods required to make you regret that sort of thinking.

Yosuke gets help from his little brother, Kaito, because he's too busy carousing with girls to keep his grades up.

Yosuke: 'That's not true.'

Kaito: 'He's just not very smart.'

Yosuke: 'Hey! Watch it, squirt.'

Pretty sure Yosuke is the mean one, not you, Kaito.

Between all the traveling I've been forced to do for Kiyoshi's aspiration, I missed both Asherah and his Adult birthdays. They're still as free-wheeling and hands-off as ever, though. I don't think much has changed for them at all...

Speaking of birthdays, our heir for generation eight is now a teenager! He adds Childish to Self-Assured. Clearly, he's absolutely bonkers if he thinks I'm going to let him drink! Put that away. Now.

Kaito: 'Aw! It's celebratory.'

No.

Yosuke's Mean trait finally makes itself known. He absolutely destroyed the dollhouse. This is, quite honestly, my biggest annoyance with Mean sims. The constant destruction. Was that really necessary?

Yosuke: 'Yes! It offended me by existing.'

Sigh. Fix it. If you're going to bust it up, you're gonna fix it, too.

Asherah claims she doesn't play favorites, but ever since Kaito became a teenager, it's like she's clued in on which kid she's going to be stuck with until she dies. They've been paling around quite a bit.

Though... maybe she should wear some clothes. I swear, this girl lives in her nightgown.

Mornings are quite chaotic in the Ocean household. I've pretty much left everyone up to their own devices, my attention being primarily focused on Kaito and Kiyoshi. Kiyoshi's Aspiration is so annoying at the end. The wildlife attacks are the worst!

I wish the AI were better, like in TS2. Then there'd be real chaos... but for now, it's mostly just a lot of messes.

Nanami joins her brothers and becomes a teenager. She's quite cute. Honestly, everyone has turned out really well. They're all a pretty decent "mix" of their parents. Though, I think Nanami borrows heavily from Asherah.

She adds Childish to Adventurous. I really like her traits, too. But her Aspiration is Spell Caster or some nonsense.

All of the kids are casters, by the way. This is my curse to bear now.

Kaito is a strange dude. I find him keeping odd schedules. Like, it's two in the morning, and he's hanging out with the maid, eating cereal, and watching a movie.

What is even going on here? The maid should have gone hours ago!

Kaito: 'Shh! It's the best part.'

Go to bed! You have school in the morning.

Honestly, all of these kids are weird. Yoko gets up so early that the ghosts are still milling around.

She's quite happy, though, because she gets reunited with her dearly-departed grandma.

They share a sweet hug and then have a chat about school that keeps Morgan well past the time she's supposed to return to her grave.

Cute, but annoying, as she took to destroy all of the sinks before she finally went...

Because this is a legacy, spouse hunting begins well before adulthood. I'm having a bit of trouble, though. Mostly because Kiyoshi won't stop prancing around nearly-naked in front of all of Kaito's prospects.

I guess we'll keep looking...

Kaito: 'Dad is so embarassing...'

Kiyoshi: 'What's wrong? And why do I keep getting random texts with eggplant emojis?'

Put some pants on, Kiyoshi. We have wildlife attacks to get while your poor son tries to find a spouse.

Nanami is really the only one who bothers with Yoko. The boys are too busy doing whatever it is they do... mostly trying to drink when I'm not looking. Scoundrels.

It's cute. I like the sisterly vibe. It helps that they'll both end up being Adventurous.

Yosuke and Kaito get along fairly well... when Yosuke isn't being 'good-naturedly' mean to him, that is. He's definitely in the tough love camp. It's pretty funny.

It feels like forever since I've had a mean sim. Everyone is always so perky.

Yoko becomes an adorable teenager! She definitely takes heavily from her father with her mother's facial positioning. All of these kids are cute. I'm happy.

She adds Bro to Adventurous. What a fun personality! She wants to be... a Painter. Which seems oddly boring. Maybe she paints extreme shots.

I'm beginning to think the drinking problem the boys have stems from this guy, right here. You're supposed to be Adventurous, not a lush! Every time I turn my back, this is where I find out.

Kiyoshi: 'I'm just relaxing.'

Well, relax less. We still have wildlife to find.

Girl time happens a lot in the mornings. Cute! I wish sims in TS4 had more autonomous personality. It seems rare that they ever do anything purposefully. It just all seems rather... hollow and robotic.

These three gathering in the mornings to chat and eat in their pajamas is a fun break from the monotony.
